JULY 27 (WTN) - As you know, the government has extended the date for filing income tax returns. But let us tell you for information that this date has not been extended for everyone, but extended only for some categories.
For the assessment year 2018-19, the government has extended the income tax return filing date for some categories 31 August 2018 instead of 31 July 2018. If you are a personal taxpayer, and do not come under the mandatory audit rules then you can fill the ITR by 31 August 2018.
