‘Safe’ driving with ABS

AUG 06 (WTN) - All of you have heard about anti-lock braking system i.e. ABS. For your information, let you know that since April 2018, the central government has mandated the ABS to be included in every new model of the car that to be launched in India.

ABS is a system in the car that can reduce the number of road accidents. Because ABS has a safety system that maintains the vehicle's wheels with the right balances on the surface of the road. Nowadays ABS has started coming in both the four wheel and two wheels vehicles.

When you suddenly break in the vehicle, then the wheels of the car gets jammed. By which the driver's equilibrium goes off on the vehicle, and the vehicle can change direction, or turn over by becoming unbalanced. But due to ABS technology, the wheels of vehicle can’t be jammed or locked.

ABS included vehicles stop at a distance after putting a brake, so that the driver can turn the car into the right direction. While non-ABS vehicles are stopped immediately after the break, there is a lot of danger for the accident.

At the same time when the ABS is in the vehicle, the wheels of the car are not jammed or locked, so that the driver keeps the balance on the vehicle and avoids the turning. With ABS in the car, you can change the direction of the car even after putting the whole brake. Even ABS is not bad enough to break the vehicle even after breaking.
