Claims to provide general and life saving drugs at cheap prices

AUG 08 (WTN) - The state's cooperative department has now stepped forward in the field of pharmaceutical business to give opportunities to the youth in Madhya Pradesh and provide medicines to the people on cheap prices. According to the information, a federation will be formed for this purpose and it will be started by opening shops in big cities like Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain and Gwalior.

According to information received from the media, this scheme can be started with 25 shops. It is being said that these shops will be connected with the ‘Ayushman Bharat Scheme’ starting from August 15.

After the implementation of the ‘Ayushman Bharat Scheme’ in the country, it is being said that there will be a lot of change in the health sector in the country. Keeping this in view and considering the possibility of employment, the cooperative department of Madhya Pradesh has formed a cooperative committee and has set up a plan to circulate drug shops.

According to the information, a federation will be constituted for conducting these drug shops. First, co-operative societies will be formed for this purpose. After creating the organization at the district level, a federation will be formed. Not only that, the licenses will be obtained for the to open the shops.

These drug stores of the cooperative department will sell both simple and life-saving medicines. Initially, these shops will be started in big cities. After seeing the results, these shops will be opened at the district level. The medicines will be sold from these shops are being claimed to be available here at a lower price than other drug stores.

The effort to open the drug shops of the cooperative department is commendable, but the big question is, which medicines will this drug be provided, prescribed by the government hospital doctors or by do the private doctors to the patients? It is known that commission is a ‘big game’ in the business of medicine. Now you have to observe how far away from the commissioning game, how much profit is given by the cooperative department’s drug shops to the general public?
