Government to ‘control’ indiscreetly increasing in private school fees
AUG 08 (WTN) – The oppose of private school directors to the government's proposal to increase up to only 10 percent fees every year in the state of Madhya Pradesh have intensified increased. Private school directors have made it clear that they have objection to the conditions of "Madhya Pradesh Private School Fees Act". Private schools directors say that in such a low fee increasing they are incapable to maintain their school; hence the provision should be abolished.
For your information, let you know that the school education department had made the draft of the law it was made publicly on June 26 and asked claims up to July 25. Private schools have so many objection to the new law that more than one thousand objections have been filed in a month.
All private school directors are showing unanimity in protest against the conditions of this new law of the state government. Private school directors say, “If there would be only 10 percent increasing in the school fees, then they would be unable to maintain school's expenditure as well.”
Not only this, private school directors have also opposed the cashless facility to be necessary soon. School operators have objected cashless system saying that most parents do not know how to do transactions from Net Banking or Mobile, so parents will have to face the problem of depositing the fees.
For your information, let you know that a new draft law has been made to increase the school fees up to ten percent a year. If private schools ask for higher fees, then the provision has been made to invalidate the fees.
It is not that private school directors have objection only on the issue of fees. In addition to fees, private school operators have expressed objections to several other provisions such as payment of fees to checks in bank accounts. Officers can visit and check documents any day. Keeping 21 registers and giving 22 pages information. Do not include parents in the district and state committee. Give audit report of three years. Give fees increasing application before 150 days.
Some objections from private school directors can be said right. But it has been observed that many times the parents face problems due to higher fee is increasing. Along with fees, many other types of charges are taken from students by private schools, so that the financial burden increases on the parents. Some objections can be rational but private school directors should also look at the problems of parents.
