Social Security Pension to be available now after not being BPL too

AUG 13 (WTN) - The Madhya Pradesh Government is going to remove a major condition of BPL (Below Poverty line) from all pension plans, including social security and old age. That is, state government beneficiaries outside the BPL list will also get the benefit of the schemes on fulfilling the remaining conditions.

According to information received from the media, the Department of Social Justice and Poor Welfare have started preparations for this. The department is formally preparing the proposal and is going to send it to the Council of Ministers for acceptance. For your information, let you know that more than 37 lakh beneficiaries are currently benefiting from these schemes in Madhya Pradesh.

According to the information, considering the assembly elections in four states including Madhya Pradesh, the Modi government has removed the condition of being BPL from the Center-assisted pension schemes, after that the state governments are now removing this condition from the schemes implemented in their respective states. It is being said that after withdrawing the condition in Madhya Pradesh, the number of beneficiaries could be more than 50 lakhs.

For your information, let you know that for almost all pension plans, the condition of having a name in the BPL list and not being income taxpayer is the same. The rest of the terms are different for everyone. It is believed that the removal of the condition of BPL will benefit a large number of people.
