Election related complaints through cVIGIL App
AUG 17 (WTN) - Preparations of the Election Commission for assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh are on the track. In the latest developments, the Election Commission has directed the Madhya Pradesh government to transfer the officers posted in the same place for three years till August 31. About this, Chandra Bhushan Kumar, Deputy Election Officer of the Election Commission of India, has said, “The state government has been directed to transfer the officers.”
At the same time Chandra Bhushan said, “The commission's cVIGIL App will prove to be quite beneficial for the voters. Through this app, ordinary voters can send complaints directly to the Election Commission. The Commission will be bound to take immediate action on these complaints.
For your information, let you know that through the cVIGIL App, voters can send evidence as a picture or video to complain about corruption and other issues during the election. In this, the identity of the complainant will be kept secret.
According to the information, a maximum time limit of 100 minutes has been fixed for timely removal of the evidence-based complaint. With the help of GPS, by identifying the location of the complaint, the concerned officer of the concerned area will take action after reaching the said position. By which elections can be done fairly.
For your information, let you know that the Election Commission is continuously holding meetings in Madhya Pradesh for assembly elections. The Commission is focusing more on voter list including VVPAT. According to the information received from the media, the time limit for name add, removal and improvement in voter list has been increased till 31 August.
