Poet Neeraj predicted, "Within thirty days, he and Atalji both will die.”

Poet Neeraj died on July 19 last month. And after 28 days of his death, Atalji passed away. Poet Neeraj had predicted nine years ago that there would be a 30 day gap between him and Atalji's death. According to information received from the media, on 27th January 2009, when Neeraj received news of demise of former President R.Venkataraman he became very upset. Three days of political mourning was declared due to the demise of the former President. Due to this, the ‘Neeraj Nisha’ program which was due on the same day was postponed.
On receiving notification of the suspension of the program, Neeraj said, "I had received Padmashree award at the hands of Venkataraman. Atlaji and Raman are my close. Well, no one else goes ahead to death." During this, when reporters asked him about the relationship with Atalji, he said,"The character of the planets of Atalji and my horoscope is the same." Neeraj said, "Shani Dev (Saturn) will play a special role in both the horoscope. Saturn has made both of us king by rank. I became the prince of poems and and Atalji became PM." Poet Neeraj said," Shani Dev (Saturn) will become the cause of death to both of us. "
At that time Neeraj had claimed that both of them would have to undergo serious diseases by death.
