AUG 20 (WTN) - The Indian Railways network is huge. Indian rail network is among the world's five largest rail networks. After the US, Russia and China, India's rail network is the largest. When you travel by rail, you must have seen the terminus, central and junction behind the stations. But do you know what all these means? Terminus - This is the station where there is no way ahead for any train. That is to say that the track ends here. From this station the train can only go in one direction. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus are the largest terminus stations in the country.

According to the information, there are more than 300 junctions in India at this time. The junction with the highest route is of Mathura. Seven routes originate from Mathura Junction. There are six routes from Salem Junction and five from Vijaywada junction.
