Prime Minister Modi is on the target of opposition, BJP’s ‘irrational’ defense
AUG 29 (WTN) - The opposition has always been questioning on the demonetization. Even the Congress has alleged that the demonetization is a 'big scandal'. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said in the midst of the allegations of the opposition that the demonetization was decided to curb black money which was 'successful' done. But the annual report of the Reserve Bank of India, which took demonetization, is not less than any ‘big setback’ for Prime Minister Modi.
According to the Reserve Bank annual report, notes of 15 lakh 44 thousand crores rupees were closed during the demonetization, and notes of 15 lakh 31 thousand crores have been returned. Only 13 thousand crores are out of the system. That is, the '99 percent 'notes have come back.
After the release of these final figures of RBI, the opposition is asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi that when the 99% money has come back, so what is the 'advantage' of the demonetization? The opposition says that the demonetization is a ‘big failure’ of Prime Minister Modi.
The Congress says that what government has received after the demonetization? The opposition alleges that demonetization is like a big economic scandal and that has not been done in the history of India. Due to the demonetization, 140 people died due to withdrawing money from banks or ATMs, but no one has expressed regret.
The BJP, on the other hand, says that the meaning of the demonetization is not properly understood. The BJP argues that the Prime Minister Modi has achieved many ‘goals’ through demonetization. According to the BJP, the demonetization is a 'organized reform'. The BJP is making arguments about the demonetization saying that it was not said that after demonetizationthe notes would not come back, but it was also to show that from where the notes came, there was also accounting with it.
For your information, let you know that on November 8, 2016, 1,000 and 500 notes were excluded from 12 o'clock in the night. With this, 86% of the country's money was out of circulation of Rs 15.44 lakh crore. According to experts, this amount is equivalent to the GDP of 60 small countries. Earlier, such a decision was made in 1978, when the Janata Party government excluded notes of 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 thousand rupees.
After the RBI report, the opposition has now decided to 'target' strongly against Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the demonetization. The Opposition has alleged that due to the demonetization, country's economy has gone back, industry and trade closed, millions of people were unemployed and 140 people died.
On the basis of the report of RBI, if the opposition becomes 'successful' in showing 'failure' of the demonetization, then BJP may face defeat in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh assembly elections later this year. It is said that after the amendment in the SC-ST Act, the general and backward class are ‘angry’ against BJP. If voters were voted in view of these reasons, then for the BJP this victory in all the three states would not be a 'dream'.
