SEP 18 (WTN) - You must have heard about Judo and Karate. But do you know the differences between these two? If you do not know, then we describe you what the differences between Judo and Karate is.

Both Judo and Karate are fundamentally martial arts of Japan. In a way, these both are war games. In Judo and Karate, you are taught to protect and attack without any weapons and also defend against armed opponents.

Judo is a modern fighter game. In 1882, Jigoro Kano developed it as martial arts. Kano made Judo appear before the world while making some improvements in the ancient Japanese martial arts Jujutsu. In the Jujutsu martial arts, samurai warriors were taught how to overcome armed opponents.

Hands and feet are used in Judo. Instead of hitting the opponent, it is emphasized to compete with him and it gives more attention to defeat and throwing the opponent. In a sense, judo can be called soft and defensive martial arts. Judo is very much like wrestling; it involves defending himself from the opponent and throwing himself away.

Karate is also one of martial arts of Japanese origin. Hands and feet are also used in karate. But this is different from Judo, because it can cause serious injury to the opponent and opponent can be killed.

Knee and elbow are used extensively to defeat the opponent in karate. In this way karate can be called a tough and aggressive martial art. Karate can be said to be close to boxing, as the opponent has to be wounded with aggression.
