SEP 20 (WTN) - You have heard about CBSE and ICSE board related to schools. But, do you know what the differences between these two are? If you do not know the differences between these two, then we describe you, what are the differences between the CBSE and the ICSE.
Both the CBSE and ICSE are the respective boards related to school education. The work area of the CBSE is limited to India only, while ICSE has its work area in the whole world.
There are only English medium schools in the ICSE Board, whereas the CBSE board schools can be either Hindi or English medium.
The CBSE board has more number of subjects compared to the ICSE board. For example, if you are a Class X student of CBSE, you will only have to study six subjects, but if you are a student of ICSE, then you will have to study 12 subjects. By the way, the main subjects are the same in both boards.
There is focused on providing theoretical knowledge to students of the CBSE Board, whereas in ICSE, more emphasis is placed on practical knowledge as well as tests.
