Madhya Pradesh government has to pay Rs 80 crore to IRCTC
In the election year, the 'red signal' for Shivraj government’s Teerth Darshan Yojna
SEP 20 (WTN) - If you don’t pay, then do not travel, yes something like this has been said by IRCTC to the Madhya Pradesh government. IRCTC has shown a ‘red signal’ to the ambitious Teerth Darshan Yojna of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. On the Teerth Deshan Yojna of Shivraj Sarkar which gives chance to the elderly to pilgrimage, has been braked.
For your information, let you know that this whole case is of paid on time. IRCTC has written a letter to the Madhya Pradesh government and has cleared that till the dues of Rs 80 crore would not be paid by the state government, the rack would not be available for the Teerth Darshan Yojna.
Immediately before the election, IRCTC has given a big jolt to the Shivraj government by showing a ‘red signal’ to the trains of Teerth Darshan Yojna. Shivraj Singh Chauhan tries his best efforts to ensure the vote bank of the elderly through the Teerth Darshan Yojna. From time to time, the elderly have been sent to the pilgrimage according to their religion. This scheme has been very popular in the BJP's traditional vote bank.
According to the information received from the media, IRCTC has written to the Madhya Pradesh government in its letter that 125 trains were to be run till September 30, 2018-19. The state government paid 78 crores rupees for the 60 trains that were run till 5th July. But 80 crores rupees for the total of 65 trains run till 30 September are still pending on the government.
Now that IRCTC has refused to give any further rack if there is no payment, in this way, the Teerth Darshan Yojna of Shivraj Sarkar has been in jeopardy. If the government doesn’t pay on the time, the IRCTC will not give the rack, if this is the case, the ambitious plan of the Madhya Pradesh government will have to be stopped in the middle. If this happens then it will have to annoy its vote bank for the BJP in the election year.
Well, for your information let you know that the state government's financial condition is weak at the moment. The salary of employees is hardly being paid. In such a situation, if the Teerth Darshan Yojna seems to have stopped due to non-payment, then it points to Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s financial mismanagement of the government.
