Since there is BJP government in centre and Madhya Pradesh as well, BJP leaders have to face 'protest'.
In the state of Madhya Pradesh, the vote bank of the general cast and backward classes is more than 60 percent, and it is in this condition that they can easily fall down the BJP government if they keep united themselves. In such a scenario, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan had tried to win the trust of these people through a tweet posted yesterday. But it seems that Shivraj Singh's bet is reversed because his party MPs and a minister in the center have started protest.
In the evening yesterday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan tried to win the trust of upper and backward castes by a tweet. In his tweet, Shivraj Singh Chauhan had written, "There will be no misuse of SC-ST act in Madhya Pradesh, no arrest without inquiry.”

BJP MP Udit Raj says about this, "I am feeling in trouble in this matter why this statement given. Our government strengthens the law and our chief minister diluting it. I am feeling very uneasy.”
Further, MP Udit Raj says, "I will keep my views in the party too and will talk to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. I will also talk to the national president. I will ask Shivraj Singh Chauhan to withdraw this case, and withdraw this statement.”
Against the statement of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, RPI leader and union minister Ramdas Athawale has expressed his protest. Athawale said, "Maybe Shivraj Singh Chauhan has given his statement to please the upper caste. But they should not speak anything which should create a sense of fear or insecurity among scheduled castes people." Athawale further said," Shivraj Singh Chauhan should withdraw his statement because the Chief Minister is for both the forward and the backward."
Gradually, the amendment in the SC-ST act for the BJP is becoming a big 'trouble'. In Madhya Pradesh, assembly elections will be held a few days later. In such a case, if the BJP didn’t take any major decision in the SC-ST act in favor of upper castes, backwards and minorities, then this class could give the BJP 'defeat' in the 2018 assembly elections.
Upper and backward class and minorities have more than 60 percent vote bank in Madhya Pradesh. Upper cast and backward class have been the BJP's traditional vote bank. Since the amendment in the SC-ST act, this class is getting angry with the BJP. Shivraj Singh Chauhan has tried to please this class by speaking about that the arresting in the SC-ST act would be after investigation, but if that happens, then the scheduled caste voters, for which BJP has changed the SC-ST act after Supreme Court decision, Will be angry.
Angered by the amendment in the SC-ST act, the upper caste and backward class have told to defeat the BJP in the assembly elections. Ministers and BJP MPs and MLAs are being opposed in Madhya Pradesh. It seems that by amending the SC-ST act, the BJP has put axe on own foot.
