Action of BJP and Congress on rebels in Madhya Pradesh assembly elections
More than 60 rebels expelled from BJP, Congress ready to let action
NOV 15 (WTN) - In Madhya Pradesh, there is direct fight between BJP and Congress for the Assembly elections. After the withdrawal of nomination for the election, both parties are now in action mode against the rebels other than campaigning against each other.
For your information, let you know that 60 rebels contesting the elections after the withdrawal of the nomination in the Assembly elections have been expelled from the party which were associated with the BJP and is contesting the elections after not getting tickets. At the same time the Congress has expelled a former legislator right now, and action can be taken against the other rebels.
The BJP had tried it’s best to please rebel candidates to withdraw from the elections, in which the BJP was able to some extent, but again, after getting the ticket outside the party line and contesting the election with other party or independent, the BJP has taken strict action against them. BJP has more expelled more than 60 rebel leaders in its first list.
Among those who have been expelled from the party, the big leaders are, former minister Sartaj Singh, former minister and former MP Ramkrishna Kusmariya from Damoh, MLA Narendra Singh Kushwaha from Bhind, former Minister K.L. Agrawal from Bamori, Dheeraj Patarias, former MLA from Barisia Brahmanand Ratnakar, former MLA from Pushparajgarh seat Sudama Singh, former mayor of Gwalior Smikasha Gupta, including Babu Mevda, Rajkumar Mev and J.P.Mandloi from Shajapur.
Apart from the BJP, the Congress is also troubled with the rebels and it is also on action mode. Congress has expelled former Jhabua MLA Javier Maida from the party. On the remaining rebels, the party can take a big decision today or tomorrow.
For your information, let you know that the Congress leaders against whom action can be taken are, former MP Satyavrat Chaturvedi and his son Nitin Chaturvedi who is contesting election from Rajnagar seat, former MP Premchand Guddu and his son Ajit Boursei, from Ujjain South Jai Singh Darbar, from Ujjain North Maya Trivedi, Sahib Singh Gurjar from Gwalior South, Kedar Dadar from Bhagwanpura.
Both the BJP and the Congress have been afraid that if the rebel candidates will contest the electiop after the NOTA and the SAPAKS, then both the parties will have to loss the vote. After the removal from the party, now it is necessary to see how both the parties compensate against rebels vote sharing.
More than Congress, the BJP is afraid of rebels, because after the amendment in the SC-ST Act, its traditional vote bank is getting annoyed with it, if the rebels also hit the party's vote bank, winning the election for the fourth consecutive time will be tough for the BJP.
