Big question: If Congress wins in Madhya Pradesh, whom will Rahul Gandhi choose for CM post between Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia?
DEC 10 (WTN) – Yesterday, i.e. Tuesday the result of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly election is to be announced. Losing three consecutive Assembly elections, the biggest challenge facing the Congress is the victory over Madhya Pradesh. If exit polls are believed, then after 15 years in the state of Madhya Pradesh, the Congress is going to form government and BJP is losing. If Congress won in Madhya Pradesh, then the biggest question before the Congress president Rahul Gandhi would be to choose the Chief Minister in Madhya Pradesh.
If there will be Congress government in Madhya Pradesh, then Rahul Gandhi will have two options for the Chief Minister's post. There is one side veteran politician and loyalist to the Gandhi family Kamal Nath, and on other side, young and dynamic leader Jyotiraditya Scindia. The Congress, losing the Assembly elections three times in Madhya Pradesh, has fielded veteran Kamal Nath as the president of the Madhya Pradesh Congress, and give the command of the election campaign committee to the youth leader Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Let’s first discuss about Kamal Nath, so Chhindwara MP and former Union Minister Kamal Nath had been very close to Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. Kamal Nath is one of the most experienced MPs of the entire country, and has a very good hold on the politics of Madhya Pradesh, and especially in the Mahakaushal region. There are a lot of supporters of Kamal Nath in the state. It may be said that if Congress wins, then Kamal Nath will be the best choice for the Chief Minister post for Rahul Gandhi.
