Pakistan Army keeping down the voice of democracy!
DEC 18 (WTN) - The dictatorship of the Army in Pakistan is not new. History has been witnessed that by removing the elected governments in Pakistan, the Army has governed there. The democracy in the Pakistan is to show in the whole world, but it is a fact that without Pakistani Army’s will, the government can’t take any decision.
Everyone knows that the voice of democracy has been kept down in Pakistan. You can see in Balochistan or in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, everywhere, the Army of Pakistan is keeping down the democracy so that their dictatorship can continue.
Although, Pakistan seems to be accused of suppressing the voice of democracy, but now it has been accused by Pakistan's former diplomat Husain Haqqani. Targeting Pakistan's democracy, Pakistan's former ambassador to US, Haqqani said, "Pakistan is only a democracy in name not in reality." Haqqani, alleging seriously on Pakistan, said they the voice of the people of Baloch, Sindhi and other communities in Pakistan is being crushed.
Former diplomat Hussein Haqqani was addressing a conference organized in Washington on subject of ‘Democracy, human rights and ending of terrorism in Pakistan', during that time he said that there is only name of democracy in Pakistan, but not really in Pakistan. During this, he expressed concern about the continuous threats to the minorities in Pakistan and the poor state of human rights in the country.
Haqqani said, "People living in Sindhi and Baloch language provinces in Pakistan are victims of suppression. In the name of equality in the country, efforts are being made to overthrow their culture and languages. "Former diplomat Haqqani warned Pakistan that no country can become strong by eliminating diversity, but by adopting them it can be strong.
For your information, let you know that this conference also demanded action against extremist organizations like Jama'at-ud-Da'wah, the organization of Mumbai attack Mastar mind Hafeez Saeed and Tehreek-e-Labbaik. In this conference, Haqqani said that the people of Pakistanis have to pay a heavy price due to terrorist organizations. Referring to the attack on Peshawar's military school on December 16, 2014, the former diplomat said, "We want a country where children can go to school with full security without any fear."
Indeed, the protection of terrorists and terror in Pakistan is not new. Over the years, the governments there appear to be standing with the terrorists. Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is terribly serious about terrorism; he was exposed when his minister of State for Home appeared in a video taking conspiracy to conserve Hafiz Saeed and his party.
In a leaked video, the Minister of State for Home of Pakistan, Shahar Afridi, is seen talking to the leaders of the Milli Muslim League (MML). During this negotiation, when his attention was drawn to the plans of the Election Commission, in US pressure, not to register the party of Hafeez Saeed as a political party and the commission to declare its party a terrorist organization, then the minister of Pakistan said clearly , "We will not let this happen."
Afridi said, "As long as we are in the government, along with Hafiz Saeed and all those who are raising voice for Pakistan and its good, we are with them. This is our trust. I ask you to come to the National Assembly and see if we are supporting people running on the right track. "
The way, in which the Army in Pakistan behind politics and behind the curtains has come to hide the terrorists, it is clear that democracy in Pakistan is just to show the world. In fact, the government is under the control of the Army there in Pakistan, and on the strength of the Army of Pakistan, the terrorists have got shelter. Before the whole world, gradually the reality of Pakistan is becoming apparent that minorities' rights are being violated in Pakistan and terrorists are being given shelters.
