SBI renews the rules for depositing and withdrawal of cash for 'convenience' and 'security' of customers

DEC 20 (WTN) - From time to time, the country's largest bank, the State Bank of India, keeps changing its rules so that customers get both security and facilities. In the same way, SBI has made major changes in the rules of depositing and withdrawal of cash from account and withdrawal from ATMs. If you don’t know these new rules, then we describe you what the SBI's new rules are.

SBI has reduced the limit for withdrawing cash from ATMs from Rs 40,000 to Rs 20,000 per day. For your information, let you know that this new limit of withdrawal from ATM has come into effect from October 31. The bank argues that such decision has taken to promote digital transactions and deal with the increasing cases of ATM fraud. At the same time, according to the information given on the SBI website, customers with Platinum Card can now withdraw cash upto one lakh rupees per day.

At the same time, according to a new rule of State Bank of India, keeping a minimum balance in SBI's account every month, you can make unlimited free transactions from ATMs. For your information, let you know that the central bank of the country i.e. the Reserve Bank of India has instructed top banks in the country to provide facility of free ATM transaction after a certain number free ATM transactions. After that, you can use ATM’s unlimited free transactions by keeping minimum balance in SBI account.

Here, SBI has made a major change in the bank's deposit rules. According to SBI, to protect the bank accounts of its customers, it has been decided that no other person will be able to deposit money in anybody's savings account. The bank argues that during the demonetization, cases of fraud were largely revealed, after which such a decision has been taken. After this new rule, son or daughter of a person will not be able to deposit cash in his/her father's savings account. Anyone who has to deposit cash in his/her account will have to go to the bank him/her self.

While facilitating its customers, SBI has made a new change in the rules for depositing cash, under which SBI customers can now go to any SBI branch of the country and deposit as much cash as possible in their savings account. If this happens, in the other city, the customers will have the convenience that they will not have to go to their home branch to deposit the cash. The benefits of this facility of SBI will be to those people who work in another city far away from their home city and their SBI account is in the home town.
