BSP prepares to increase 'mass base' in Madhya Pradesh through 'caste equations'
Mayawati may implement UP’s 'social engineering' formula in Madhya Pradesh
DEC 24 (WTN) - In the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, after the defeat of the BSP, party chief Mayawati is worried and now Mayawati can implement the UP Social Engineering Formula in Madhya Pradesh to reinforce the BSP in the state. First of all describe you to find out the reasons for the defeat in the assembly elections, party president Mayawati has sent her special envoy and National Vice President Ramji Gautam to Madhya Pradesh. According to information, Mayawati's close one Ramji Gautam is exploring the reasons after detailed discussions with the party worker and leaders of the state, which has led to the defeat of the party in Madhya Pradesh.
In the last assembly elections, the BSP had won four seats in Madhya Pradesh, but this time the party could win only two seats. Not only this, the percentage of the party's vote sharing has also dropped 1.29 percent against the previous election. The BSP's vote fell so much that the four MLAs of the party were defeated this time in the assembly elections, after which Mayawati made a big change in the party in Madhya Pradesh, while suspended the state president Pradip Ahirwar and state in-charge Ram Achal Rajbhar. Later, the state vice president Ramlakhan has also been changed.
According to the information, BSP's National Vice President Ramji Gautam discussed in detail with the small party workers of Gwalior, Rewa and Jabalpur zone and conversed on the reasons of the defeat. Once upon a time the BSP had a big support base in Madhya Pradesh but gradually the BSP's has been reduced in the state, after which Mayawati had earlier asked a report about it.
After getting the report, Mayawati has now sent Ramji Gautam to discuss with the lower level party workers to know the reasons of the defeat of the party in the assembly election. With BSP vice president Gautam, the newly appointed President of the state, D.P. Chaudhary and other office bearers are also looking for reasons of the defeat in the elections.
After the defeat in Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, Mayawati made many changes in the BSP leadership in the state, where Ramlakhan, the former BSP state vice-president has been replaced by Acchelal who is from Satna. The reason behind replacing Acchelal as vice president is that this time Siddhartha Kushwaha of Congress has won from Satna.
For your information, let you know that Siddhartha Kushwaha had already been member of BSP; therefore Mayawati has done her best to attract the Kushwaha society of the Vindhya region. After appointing Acchelal the Vice President of the state, BSP hopes that during the Lok Sabha elections, the party will get support from the Kushwaha society, but the result of the removal of Ramlakhan will also have to be resulted by the BSP from the displeasure of the Kurmi society, because Ramlakhan represents the Kurmi society.
One upon a time the BSP had a good reach in the Madhya Pradesh voters and the BSP had won seven seats in the 2008 assembly elections. But the BSP's support gradually decreased in Madhya Pradesh. Keeping in view the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, the BSP is now in an effort to focus on ethnic equilibrium.
The way BSP managed to get the upper caste and OBC society together under ‘social engineering’ in UP and won the 2007 assembly election, the same way BSP could do to gain again its own backbone in Madhya Pradesh.
It is said that party may give some big posts of organization to the upper and backward class leaders. In this way party may reach in the upper and backward class. After amendment in the SC/ST act, upper and backward class is seemed to be anger with BJP. So in this scenario, BSP may dilute its hard lining against upper and backward class to please them.
