Customers of Reliance Jio increases every day
In terms of internet downloading speed and availability, Jio proceeds ahead to all companies!
FEB 21 (WTN) - Since the launch of Reliance Jio in India, it has constantly increased the number of consumers and due to Jio, telecom companies have suffered losses of crores. It is said that due to the cheap plan of Jio, excellent network and easy availability, its customers are increasing every day and the number of subscribers of other telecom operators is continuously declining.
In the month of December last year, there was an increase in the number of subscribers of Jio, which led to the decline in the number of subscribers of Vodafone, Idea and Bharti Airtel as well as among other telecom companies. According to the data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Reliance Jio added 85.6 lakhs new subscribers in December 2018, after which the total number of Jio customers increased to 28.01 crores.
While on the one hand the number of Jio subscribers is steadily rising, on the other hand, the number of subscribers of the country's largest telecom provider Vodafone Idea Company declined by 23.32 lakhs in December, 2018, and the company's total number of customers remained only 41.87 crores. At the same time, the total number of subscribers of Bharti Airtel declined by 34.03 crores in December, 2018, which are less than 15.01 lakhs from November 2018.
If we discuss about Tata Teleservices so its number of consumers has reduced by 10 lakhs. At the same time, the number of subscribers of MTNL decreased 3,963 and remained 46,409. Here, the number of subscribers of Reliance Communications declined by 1,929 and remained 22,138.
According to the report of TRAI of December, 2018, the number of mobile phone subscribers increased to 119.78 crores in the country by the end of December, 2018, which was 119.37 crores by the end of November, 2018. In this way, the number of mobile phone subscribers increased by 0.35 percent on monthly basis.
Jio has not only thrown back the rest of the telecom companies in the number of subscribers, but also in the case of Internet downloading speed, it has outwitted the rest of the providers. According to TRAI's internet downloading speed data of January 2019, Reliance Jio at the rate of 18.8 megabytes per second was the top in the download speed.
According to a study conducted here in 15 cities of the country, the data speed of Airtel was the fastest during July-December 2018. Right now, in relation to network coverage, Reliance Jio has defeated all the network companies. According to Ookla, a telecom network research firm, Reliance Jio has defeated to all the companies in terms of network coverage. According to the report of Ookla, in the areas surveyed by them, the presence of Jio was observed 99 per cent in survey area. Bharti Airtel's network was 99.1 per cent, Vodafone's 99 per cent and Idea Cellular's network was found at 98.9 per cent of the locations.
