The Election Commission launches 'Voter Turnout' app to know the voting percentage
APR 19 (WTN) - On the day of polling, everyone is eager to know about the voting percentage of the constituency and the polling booths. Although, on the day of polling, the Election Commission continues issues the voting percentage figures from time to time. But these figures take much time to reach to the general public. So there is curiosity in the public as to know how much voting percentage has done.

Now, after removing all these problems, the Election Commission has launched a new mobile application, which will provide full information in the real time of voters' presence throughout the country on voting day. That is, the number of votes casted in which constituency and which polling booth has been done will be detected immediately.

The Beta version of the 'Voter Turnout' app of the Election Commission is available on the Android Play Store. For your information, let you know that during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections across the country, this shows the voting percentage of state-wise and parliamentary constituency wise. You can download it from the Google Play Store, and through this, you can know the voting percentage on the day of voting.

About this app, the Election Commission argues that this app will increase the transparency of the voters' presence in the public, whereas it will make available voting percentage for the media easily. According to the Election Commission, the data will be updated continuously through the second app at the parliamentary level, so that the app can provide the real-time information.

At the same time, the Election Commission claims that the data will be verified after the ending of the voting on the voting day and after returning the polling party, the final voting percentage data will be made available on the app. The voting done by male and female voters in this app will be shown separately.
