As being repeated today over and over, love has no boundaries, a person can express love towards anyone irrespective of who or what that is… it’s an emotion which comes naturally, it can’t be forced onto someone nor could anyone imitate it for long.
Today we meet one such person from our very own city of lakes, Bhopal. Souvik Mukherjee aka Bobby was a constable at CISF para-military force. Now after resigning from para-military he teaches music and performs concerts.
But Souvik has a hobby since childhood, more than a hobby; he passionately loves dogs. He is also an active member of PETA and is actively involved in rescue missions for tortured pet dogs.
The intensity of his passion is such that he has rented a separate bungalow, especially for his pets.

While in talks with Souvik, he says, “I have lost some of my pets, I mean they died, just to remember them I tattoo a paw on my arm so that I never forget them.” Just imagine, inking yourself is like a permanent mark on your body but Souvik doesn’t mind. He adds “A dog will not be with you all your life as they have a shorter lifespan, but for the dog, you are someone who will be with it all its life till it dies, so give these lovely creatures good memories and love.”
Well, that’s another definition of love here on Valentine’s Day. Keep us updated of any more dog lovers in the city. -WTN
