The man who knows where to use the right words at the right time none other than the 93-year-old veteran lawyer Ram Jethmalani, senior lawyer Supreme Court of India and Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha was in Bhopal on Friday. He spoke about his journey from a young lawyer to 75 successful years in the profession. Supreme Court bar Association (SCBA) celebrated Mr. Ram Jethmalani’s 75 years of practice at Bar. Ram Jethmalani, India's highest paid lawyer and a former Union Law Minister who has fought several high-profile cases and represented many controversial clients from Big Bull Harshad Mehta to India's former Prime Minister Narsimha Rao spoke about his view on Indian politics.
Tanvi Dubey, associate Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. and Advocate Supreme Court of India was also present, Tanvi received a certificate of appreciation from Ram Jethmalani It was given to her for extraordinary performance in the legal fraternity at a very young age. Tanvi, was also given the Youth Icon certificate.
Jethmalani also spoke about his views on the current political scenario and a few words about the black money issues. At the age of 93 he still plays badminton, he also said “I am sitting in the departure lounge of god’s airport, I want nothing more” he has had a wonderful and adventurous life and has no regrets about it.- WTN
