Congress high command proved to be 'failed' in strategy making

If ‘this’ happens, Congress can lose in the coming elections too!

OCT 26 (WTN) – Only defeat and defeat in elections! It seems that this has become the 'destiny' of Congress, the oldest political party of the country. But no one else, but the Congress high command and other leaders are 'responsible' for the defeat of Congress in the elections. Expect the 'big' victory in the Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections held in last year, it has become a dream for the Congress to get a big victory in the elections. It is true that Congress has formed the government in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in the Assembly Elections held last year, but in both these states, the Congress has got a majority with hardly any support.

Even after the recent defeats in the recently concluded Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly Elections, if the Congress party does not change its 'ideology' and ‘strategy’, the party's defeat in the Jharkhand, Delhi, Bihar and West Bengal assembly elections is set. Although the Congress is not in power in all these four states, the Congress party has become so weak that except for Delhi in the assembly elections in these states, the Congress is not seen in the race as an 'alternative'.

The Congress had been in power in Maharashtra for years, but today it is the political position of the Congress in Maharashtra that in the recently concluded assembly elections, the Congress stood at number four winning 44 seats. At the same time, the condition of Congress in Haryana is 'improved', but the Congress party has suffered due to the emergence of JJP. Congress has completely 'missed out' by taking advantage of the anti-incumbency wave of five years in Maharashtra and Haryana. On issues like inflation, economic downturn, and employment, the Congress could surround the BJP by making a strategy, but instead of doing all this, the Congress remained engrossed in its 'internal battle'.

If Congress wanted it, so it could have done better in both these states but Congress could not do so. Actually, the biggest reason behind the Congress defeat is its strategic mistake'. In all the elections from the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections till now, BJP has made ‘nationalism’ the most prominent issue of its campaign. Whether it is a surgical strike or air strike or Article 370, BJP has always preferred nationalist issues in its agenda, but many big leaders of Congress, including former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, either has been 'opposing' these issues or 'laughing'.

These same mistakes of Congress leaders are becoming the reason for their continuous defeat. It is true that issues like inflation, recession, and employment are those issues, which are directly related to the public, but when the people of the country see that the concrete action has been taken against Pakistan and terrorists then they forget these issues. This is why, because the public thinks that issues like inflation, recession, and employment keep on coming, but it is more important to teach Pakistan and the terrorists a hard lesson. But Congress has been defeated here on these issues, and its leaders' inaccurate commentary on nationalist issues makes the BJP even stronger.

Apart from the issues, Congress is far behind the BJP in making a strategy for elections. In the Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly Elections, the Congress party could not overcome the resentment and resentment among its big leaders till the last moment. Let us admit that the Congress has become so 'weak' in Maharashtra that it is at number four, but the Congress party has also delayed in the fielding setting for elections in Haryana. If Bhupinder Singh Hooda had been given the command of the Congress in Haryana long ago, the Congress party would have done even better.

Congress is behind the strategy in formulating the strategy before the elections, while the Congress is far behind to the BJP in the strategy of forming the government after the election also. There are instances from Goa to Haryana when after the election results, the Congress government failed to be formed due to the 'inaction' of the high command and big leaders. It is clear that after the Congress's historical defeats in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, the Congress high command is disappointed and is delaying in taking decisions.

Defeat and victory are two pats of elections. But sitting disappointed after the defeat does not make politics nor win the subsequent elections. The Congress high command still has time to recover from the disappointment of defeat and make a strategy for the upcoming elections from now. At the same time, Congress has to remember that the BJP is never back from cashing in on nationalism in the elections, in such a way that if the Congress high command and other leaders oppose it or laugh again, then Congress should prepare to lose the elections again.
