'Delete Message' feature to protect your chatting on WhatsApp

NOV 29 (WTN) - If you have a smartphone, then you must have used WhatsApp on your smartphone. For your information, let us know that WhatsApp is currently the most popular instant messaging app in the whole world. There are around 150 crore users of WhatsApp all over the world, out of which around 40 crore users are in India alone. There are many features of WhatsApp, including end-to-end encryption, that make WhatsApp popular among users.

From time to time, WhatsApp keeps changing its features and launching new features to meet the challenges faced by other instant messaging apps, and WhatsApp's popularity among users remain. In this context, WhatsApp has launched an important feature for its users, for which users have been demanding for a long time.

According to the information from the WABetaInfo, WhatsApp these days is working to launch the much-awaited feature called 'Delete Message'. As such, beta users can use the 'Delete Message' feature at present. For information, according to a report released a few days ago, WhatsApp is preparing to launch the 'Disappearing Message' feature, but now it is being told that WhatsApp is now going to rolling out this feature under the name 'Delete Message'. Currently, this feature is being tested on the beta version 2.19.348, which you can use on the beta version.

Users have been waiting for this feature for a long time. The particularity of this feature is that using this feature, the message will automatically be deleted after a certain time. After the rollout of this feature, users can go to the group settings of WhatsApp and select the option of 'Delete Messages'. On selecting this option, they will also get the option to set time with the option of on and off.

In this much-awaited feature, the user will get five scheduling options to delete any message. The first option will be for one hour, the second for one day, third for one week, fourth for one month and fifth for one year. For example, if you choose the one-day option, the message sent to anyone on WhatsApp will automatically be deleted after one day. After choosing one of these five options, the message sent to anyone will automatically be deleted at that specified time. It is being claimed that the biggest particularity of this feature is that after the message is deleted, there will be no track of the deleted message.

If you have not understood this, then for your information, let us tell you that whenever the user accidentally sends a message to another user or to a group, for some time with this message 'delete for everyone's option remains. But when the user deletes a message using this feature, 'This message has been deleted' is written in the chat. In this way, the other user who receives the message or in the group chat knows that a message has been deleted by the sender. But WhatsApp claims that even after deleting the message in the new feature called 'Delete Message', 'This message has been deleted' will not be written.

But now it has to be seen whether this new feature of WhatsApp works as per the claim. By the way, WhatsApp users have been demanding this feature for a long time. Users will not have to delete their saved messages with the help of this feature, and after a certain time, the messages will automatically be deleted.

But a disadvantage to the users with this feature is that if someone wants to keep a received message safe, then they will not be able to keep it safe, because if the sender has chosen to delete the message then that message will automatically be deleted. After now it has to be seen how WhatsApp resolves this problem of users.
