Google claims; Artificial intelligence to identify cancer patients properly
JAN 03 (WTN) - The limits and capabilities of science are so vast that they are undefined and infinite. Everything has changed between 300 years ago human being's life and human life at present. For centuries, on the basis of science, the moon which man used to gaze at while sitting on the earth, now man has set his steps on that moon. In this era of technology, humans have achieved the status, which was never imagined centuries ago. Whatever progress a man can make on the basis of science, but before the death, man loses. However, death cannot be stopped by resorting to science, but yes death can be postponed for some time.
As you know, due to the messy way of life in modern times, disease like cancer is spreading rapidly. Although cancer treatment is possible in developed countries like America, for the treatment of cancer, it is important that cancer should be diagnosed at the right time. However, medical science has made so much progress that information about cancer disease is obtained in a very precise manner. But as we told you that on the basis of science, man is progressing day by day, and this time with the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence), many difficult and complex tasks are being done in a simple way.
In this context, Google claims that cancer patients can be identified in a much better way with the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology than any human radiologist. For your information, let us tell you that according to a paper published in Scientific Journal Nature, the Google Company claims that it has developed an AI model that can better identify the cancer patients than human radiologists. Actually, a study was done about 6 radiologists, in which the AI system performed the best. Explain that Google has been working on this project with clinical research partners based in the US and UK for two years.
Although Google says that the Google model will not replace any radiologist, its algorithm is much better than that of a single radiologist. By the way, mammograms are usually checked by many radiologists in the case of breast cancer. However, a radiologist in the US and two radiologists in the UK do breast cancer detection, but in India, there is no sure how many radiologists will do the detection.
According to the American Cancer Society, mammograms are known about small breast cancer, but it is not easy to treat it. On the other hand, if we talk about Google's algorithm, it is not necessary that it will be able to replace the radiologist. India, the world's second-largest populated country, has a shortage of radiologists. According to one report, there is only one radiologist per two lakh eighteen thousand populations in India. So it can be said that in these situations, this technology of Google will easily identify cancer patients.
However, doctors say that artificial intelligence will never replace humans, especially in the treatment of serious diseases like cancer. Yes, it is possible that with the help of artificial intelligence devices can be used for treatment, but it is not sensible to rely solely on them. Now this coming time will explain how much Google's claim about cancer patients is being proved. Well, it is true that comparing the capacity of humans and machines is not rational anywhere. Humans and machines both have different capabilities in different fields, but if a machine helps a human being easy to perform a task, it should be welcomed.
