If you do not, then quickly use the two-step verification feature in WhatsApp

FEB 03 (WTN) - If you have a smartphone, then you must have used WhatsApp in it. For your information, let us know that WhatsApp is currently the most popular instant messaging app in the whole world. At present, there are around 160 crore users of WhatsApp all over the world, out of which around 50 crores users are in India alone. WhatsApp has become the most used app in the world due to other features including end-to-end encryption. But if you use WhatsApp, then for your information, let you know that even if you have taken care of negligence, then still your WhatsApp can get hacked despite all the claims of security.

As you know, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’s WhatsApp was recently hacked. According to the media information, the mobile phone of Jeff Bezos was hacked by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Now that mobile phones and WhatsApp are being hacked, questions are being raised on the security of WhatsApp. Actually, some time ago the news of espionage was also revealed through WhatsApp, after which WhatsApp had to give itself a clarification about this.

As now, the news of WhatsApp’s being hacked, and spied through it, has started coming, then in such a situation, WhatsApp users have started worrying about their accounts being hacked. But if you fully secure your WhatsApp, no one will be able to hack it. So today we tell you how you can protect your WhatsApp from being hacked.

To protect your WhatsApp from being hacked, you need to make some special changes to its settings. To change WhatsApp settings, first, open WhatsApp on your mobile phone. After opening WhatsApp, click on WhatsApp settings. After going to the settings of WhatsApp, you have to click on the account option present in it. After clicking on the account, you will see an option for two-step verification. This feature of a two-step verification of WhatsApp can protect your WhatsApp from being hacked.

For this, you have to enable the two-step verification feature in WhatsApp. After enabling this feature, you can create a 6-digit PIN for it. The biggest benefit of creating this PIN will be that whenever an attempt is made to open WhatsApp on any other phone from your mobile number, WhatsApp will be open only through the PIN you have created.

After creating a PIN through a two-step verification code, you will also have an option to link an e-mail address, because if you ever forget your PIN, WhatsApp can send the verification link to your e-mail ID. For your information, let us know that this PIN (PIN) created by the user for the two-step verification feature is different from the verification code that is sent to the user through WhatsApp during WhatsApp setup. So we recommend that you should use the two-step verification feature in your WhatsApp as soon as possible so that your WhatsApp cannot be hacked.
