International Women’s Day celebrated by People’s Ladies Club

International Women’s Day was celebrated with fun and fervour at People’s auditorium Bhanpur Bhopal by members of People’s Ladies Club and People’s University students faculty staff and employees. All dressed in the theme colour purple looked attractive and gorgeous. They complimented each other and were all set to welcome and hear Manya Vats who was the guest speaker for the occasion. She spoke about women empowerment and change in mindset for improving the lives of women. Various charity and health awareness programs; competitions like painting poster making etc were organised to mark the international women’s day at People’s. The ladies enthralled the audience with their mesmerising cultural performances. They presented dances on various songs....choti chiraiya....nashe si chad gayi...ban-than ke jaati....etc; sang songs ...ek pyaar ka nagma hai....performed a skit laying stress on girl child education the theme women be bold for change and women empowerment. Some recited poems and some spoke about the special moments in life they felt nice being a woman and one-minute games were also organised for all women present for the program. The guest speaker was honoured with a memento and the winners were appreciated with prizes and certificates. Megha Vijaywargia -Trustee and Director People’s Group and Ruchi Vijaywargia -COO People’s Samachar and Director People’s Group graced the occasion. The program was successfully coordinated by members of People’s Ladies Club Prasanna, Garima and Team Anand Vibhaag People’s University. Col. Karesh Prasad proposed the vote of thanks.
