'This scheme" of Prime Minister Modi to provide many facilities to farmers
With this step of Modi government, farmers to get benefit of schemes related to farming
APRIL 01 (WTN) - As you know, India has been an agricultural country. About 70 percent of the country's population is directly or indirectly connected to farming. Let you know that farming is the largest business in India, the world's second largest populated country. Since independence, farmers have been deciding the condition and direction of the results of the assembly and Lok Sabha elections. But it has been seen that even today, the economic condition of crores of farmers is in bad condition. Indian farmers have not yet become financially prosperous due to weather based agriculuring, and many problems, including debt.
But the Modi government is working on a new scheme for the benefit of farmers. It is believed and claimed that this scheme of the Modi government would prove to be a boon for farmers. For your information, let us know that the Central Government is preparing to make a unique Farmer ID for the farmers. What is this scheme and how will farmers benefit from it? Let us tell you about it in detail.
Actually, it is the Central Government's plan to link the data of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme and other schemes to the land record database being created by the states. Based on this database, a specific farmer identification card of the farmers will be created. It is being claimed that once the farmer identity card is created, it will be easy to reach the farmers related to farming schemes. And they will be able to easily take advantage of various schemes related to farming.
For your information, let us know that at present there are about 14.5 crore farmer families in the country. Out of which 12 crore are small and marginal farmers. For your information, let us know that these are farmers who have less than 2 hectares of land. But who is a farmer and who is not? There is technically a government scale for this. Technically, the farmers who have met this parameter to be called farmers are can take advantage of farming-related schemes.
In fact, according to the National Farmers Policy-2007, a 'farmer' is one who is actively involved in the economic or livelihood activities of the crops grown, and the one who grows other primary agricultural products. The people, who are involved in farming and meet this scale those are considered as farmers in the government records, and these people get the benefit of farming related schemes.
Under this scheme, the Central Government is in the process of creating a joint farmer database in consultation with the states. Under this, in the first phase about 10 crore farmers registered under the PM-Kisan scheme will be covered in it. Explain that the information of the Aadhar card of about 10 crore farmer families, information about their bank account number and their revenue records has been collected under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi with the Central Government. If the idea of creating an identity card by combining this database comes true, then the farmers will get the benefit of the schemes related to farming quite easily.
