So the Coronavirus infection spread all over the world due to the carelessness of WHO ?
WHO continues to cover up China's mistakes in the Coronavirus crisis
APRIL15 (WTN) - Coronavirus infection epidemic has troubled the world. The Coronavirus infection, which originated and spread from Wuhan city of China, has infected citizens of more than 200 countries. At the time of writing this article, 1,27,595 people have died across the world due to the Coronavirus infection so far. But in the midst of all this, many countries of the world are considering the WHO (World Health Organization) as being largely responsible for the Coronavirus crisis.
For your information, let us know that most of the countries of the world believe that the WHO showed negligence about the infectiousness of the Coronavirus infection disease and warned about it late. Let us know that earlier, when the SARS disease had spread in the year 2002-03, the WHO immediately issued a travel restriction and guideline. At the same time, China was also worried that it caused the disease, and the information was not given quickly, so SARS started spreading.
After SARS, the WHO also warned that the Coronavirus could return again. Then the WHO's immediate director general Dr Gro Harlem Brundtland issued a warning that there could be some kind of viral infection from China's animal markets, and therefore it should be monitored here.
But now that science has progressed a lot, and communication tools have also become more advanced than before. Even then, the WHO's timely issuance of timely warnings to other countries about Coronavirus infection makes its role suspicious. The WHO has been continuously accused of not playing its role on time.
However, the WHO says that after the outbreak of Coronavirus infection in Wuhan city of China, it constantly received and released health updates. We used to check it daily, how contagious the virus is and how fast it can spread, and the guidelines of all the countries were being given about it. But during this period, the WHO continued to deny that the virus spread from person to person, while China's neighboring country, Taiwan, initially stated that the Coronavirus was spreading from person to person. Taiwan alleges that since it is not a member country of the WHO, the organization did not take its point seriously and relied solely on China.
It is alleged that in the case of Coronavirus, the WHO continued to support China and hide the truth of the infection from the whole world. On February 17, the WHO reported that the Coronavirus has started to take a toll, and most cases are in Wuhan, China, so there is no need to panic. Even a few days later, WHO director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that we do not believe that the virus would spread in the world, or there will be deaths. The Director General of WHO was saying this when there were more than 75 thousand patients of Coronavirus infection in China itself and the infection started spreading in many other countries as well.
Not only this, but on 29 February, the WHO advised countries not to stop air travel, saying that banning travel in most cases of public health emergency does not matter because sealing the borders will effect to help each other. It is believed that due to not closing their borders, tourists from all over the world came to Italy and things got so bad there.
Here, after a full 48 days of the lockdown in Wuhan, the WHO said that all countries need to try an emergency to prevent Coronavirus infection and to keep the situation under control. At the same time, after a long time, on March 11, WHO finally declared Coronavirus infection as an epidemic, but by then the infection of this virus had spread to many countries. For all these reasons, it is clear that the functioning of WHO on Coronavirus infection has been questionable so far.
