Coronavirus cases increase in India due to Jamatis' mistake

APRIL 22 (WTN) - The Nizamuddin congregation of Tabligi Jamat led to an explosive initiation of the Covid-19 spread in the country. They spread the disease in the country by two ways.

One, they stayed together in close confines, in hiding, away from police and medical scrutiny, which infected a large number of people internally before the administration came to know about it and ambushed them out for proper quarantining. Second, many of the infected Jamatis, bang out of the congregation, silently moved away to other places in the country before the third week of March when the countrywide lockdown was finally implemented.

As they settled amid their families and communities in different towns and cities, those groups too got infected by the highly virulent strain of the virus and the number of infected thus kept multiplying, by and by spreading to the colonies and beyond.

To track the individual carriers who started the spread or could potentially infect others, became a herculean task for the state administrations. All of this started from the unrestricted movement of the community members from the Jamat and their lack of concernfor their own safety and sense of social responsibility.

Had they practised social distancing and sought early medical intervention, much of the national crisis could be averted. Instead, just as Covid-19 was peaking globally, they kept on assembling in high numbers and moving in large groups, despite the fact that many of the members had just returned from the infected countries and wellunderstood the consequences of their actions.
