Mystery about Kim Jong-un
Kim Jong-un never wants to change North Korea
MAY 17 (WTN) - North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is one of the most figured personality in global news, and mostly for the wrong reasons. The tiff between Trump and Un in the recent past that escalated to dangerous levels bordering on the nuclear threat further made Un the bad boy of global diplomacy.
Trump and Un made it up later but the damage was done and the deep rift in the relationships between the two countries remains. North Korea’s adamant stance at promoting and furthering its missile and nuke programmes is a cause of global concern.
The thoroughly scanned, filtered and gagged news that comes out from the country gives little idea of things inside and this convolutes the situation further. Not that Kim has many friends in the world and except some association with China and its acts of charity on which N Korea survives, Kim doesn’t have much to do with the rest of the world.
Undoubtedly, the fate and future of the country he rules is in doldrums. The financial condition of the economically isolated country and the social restrictions that the people have to suffer leave North Korea one of the most abhorred, rejected and distressed countries of the world with a bleak future trajectory.
Though speculations about the poor health of the 36-year-old leader often hog media limelight, he is still in a position to remain at the helm and as long as he does, there is little possibility of North Korea seeing any major upturn in its future prospects.
