Meanwhile, according to research conducted on the children in Europe, the death rate of the children affected by the Coronavirus infection is less than one percent. According to Lancet Child & Adolescent Health, 600 children from 21 European countries were included in this research, in which children affected with the  Coronavirus infection ranged from 3 days to 18 years. The number of boys in these children was slightly more than girls. At the same time, about 75 percent of these children were fully healthy before being infected with the Coronavirus infection.

According to research on the data collected between April 1 and April 24, more than half of the 600 children had to be hospitalized when they were infected with the Coronavirus infection. But only 8 percent of these children were so ill that they had to be admitted to the ICU. At the same time, only four of these children died. That is, the death rate of the children infected by the Coronavirus infection was only 0.69%.

According to research scientists, the death rate of the children infected by the Coronavirus can be considered even lower because many children were infected by the Coronavirus, but their symptoms were so low that they did not have to be hospitalized. Explain that 16 percent of the children involved in the research had no symptoms of the Coronavirus infection. According to research conducted in China, only one percent of 10 to 19-year-old children were affected by the Coronavirus infection. At the same time, less than one percent of children below 10 years of age were affected by the Coronavirus infection.

At the same time, as far as newborns are concerned, some doctors believe that if the mother is affected by the Coronavirus infection, then the newborn child itself generates an anti-body against  the Coronavirus in the womb. When a study was conducted on nine pregnant women in the Chinese city of Wuhan, according to this study, the Coronavirus infection does not transfer from mother to child. By the way, the doctors have the opinion on these researches that it's early studies, and based on this, it cannot be said with full confidence that the Coronavirus infection has very little effect on children.
