Fraudsters are making people a victim of fraud through fraudulent calls, and such calls are called 'voice physing'. Actually, such people call themselves bank representatives or members of the technical team of the bank. These people talk in such a way that the customer is convinced that the person who is calling is related to the bank.
If the customer gets deceive by the caller, then the caller asks him for complete personal information, bank details, debit or credit card information, net banking passcode, or OTP, etc. After which, they either do online shopping from the customer's account or transfer money to their own account.
For your information, let's know that fraudsters do the ATM cloning, WhatsApp calls, breaching of card data, fraud in the UPI, and fraud in the name of lottery, etc. for transferring money from the bank accounts or for online shopping.
