B.M.L.T (Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology) is one of the major and indigent wings in the modern healthcare field. With the advancement of medical science testing of various health issues has become a mandatory common practice, the physician requires the help of medical laboratories for the treatment of rapidly growing diseases and these laboratories or pathology labs are  always on the lookout for  skilled health care professionals.

Course duration: Thus, B.M.L.T is a medical lab technologist program which one can take to become a medical technologist. The B.M.L.T course is of 3 years, and its syllabus is divided into 6 semesters, it is a career oriented course.

Admission in B.M.L.T: To take admission in B.M.L.T, students will have to pass 10 + 2 with subjects like physics, chemistry, and biology and with minimum 50% marks or above.

Job scope in B.M.L.T- With the development in the private sector, these days there are so many private hospitals, nursing homes, blood banks, pathology laboratories etc. Demand for laboratory technologist is on the up-swing, they can also work as lab manager / consultant / supervisor, health care administrator, hospital outreach coordination, laboratory information system analyst / consultant, educational consultant / coordinator etc.
