Modi Government formulated 'strategy' to curb imported goods from China

JULY 22 (WTN) - The anger in India against China, a country with an expansionist mindset, is still intact. As you are aware, China had tried to show bullying on the LAC on the Galwan valley in the eastern Ladakh. After that, there were violent clashes between the soldiers of China and India.

After this incident, there was tension between the two countries on the LAC and diplomatically for a long time. However, peace remains between the two countries at the moment. But, the Modi Government is working on a strategy to teach a lesson to China's ever-increasing grandeur and haughtiness.

In fact, according to information received from the media, the Modi Government will step up the mission of 'Aatmnirbhar Bharat' and preparing a strategy to stop the import of Chinese goods in a phased manner. In this context, the Modi Government is preparing to gradually clamp down on the import of Chinese goods and Chinese investment.

In fact, now, the Modi Government is preparing to impose a hefty tax on the daily use items imported from China, which will be applicable for the next five years. Along with this, the Modi Government has divided them into two categories to systematically ban goods imported from China.

According to the information, all the goods that India imports from China will be divided into two categories. Imported goods have also been separated into two categories as part of the strategy to keep a close watch on China's imports and reduce dependence on China.

As per the information, the first category includes low price but high volume daily use items. This category includes those goods which are very low in value term but very high in volume term. Such goods are called 'low value-high volumes'.

For this category of goods, the Modi Government has prepared some strategy on which work has also been started. Under this strategy, anti-dumping duty and safeguard duty can be imposed on cheap imports. At the same time, the goods imported will be reviewed from time to time. Later, if required, counter well-being duty can also be imposed on these imported goods. There is also a plan to impose technical standard conditions on imports. Not only this, but the government is also working on a strategy to give incentives on domestic production.

At the same time, those goods with high value but low volume will be placed in the second category of goods imported from China. But, the government has decided that no decision will be taken immediately for such goods. And for this, first, their production will be increased in the country under a long-term policy. And after that, gradually the import of such goods from China will be prohibited in the same proportion. It is clear that the Modi Government is now ready to teach China a lesson through trade after the LAC.
