India is a home to more than 1.252 billion people living in a country facing severe
diseases and health problems on a daily basis. As per the report submitted by World
Health Organization, 75% of the casualties or sudden deaths that happen in India
are due to rise in Air Pollution.
There are two countries in South Asian Region one is India and the other one is
Western Pacific regions that are on the verge of falling due to their health ratios.
The report further talks about the global level saying nine out of 10 people living in
the world are supposed to be breathing polluted air.
The issue of contaminated pollution affecting the environment is rising day by day
affecting the living conditions and causing more and more sudden deaths including
Heart attacks, lung diseases like Asthma, respiratory problems and more.
The recent forum Habitat III held at Quito, Equator also discussed about the living
issues faced by developing countries in South Asian Regions and how they can
cope up with this. For the same, the experts lined a solution basket with all the
relevant measures that could be taken to make countries more sustainable and
cleaner.
India has the highest ratio of Ischemic heart disease (IHD) where 2,49,388 people
every year die of this disease. The problem can be eliminated once the countries
will strictly ban inefficient transport modes, burning of fuels, coals, industrial
waste and other major sources causing pollution to make country pollution free.
