School of Pharmacy & Research, People’s University Organised MPCST Sponsored a day National Seminar
Bhopal : School of Pharmacy & Research, People’s University, Organized MPCST Sponsored one day National Seminar on “Challenges towards Implementing CPCSEA Guidelines in Pharmacy Institutions” Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animal (CPCSEA) works on different aspects pertaining to animal research in pharmacy.
Program was inaugurated by Dr. V.K. Pandya Vice Chancellor People’s University, Key note speaker Dr. Papiya Bigoniya, Mr. Manoj Aswar, Pune & Dr. Neeraj Upmanyu, Convener of the Programme.
Followed by the technical session one, in which lecture was delivered Dr. Papiya Bigoniya
Principal, Radharaman College of Pharmacy Bhopal delivered speech on “Challenges towards Implementing CPCSEA Guidelines in Pharmacy Institutions and Mr. Manoj K Aswar, Associate Professor at Sinhgad Institute of Pharmacy, Pune has briefed the students on Animal Experimentation’s Ethics in India.
Second technical session was started with the lecture given by Dr. Vijay Thawani, Director, Centre for Scientific Research & Development, People’s University, on “Designing & writing a good protocols as per CPCSEA”, followed by Dr. N. Ganesh, Head, Dept. of Research Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Bhopal, on Protocol violation Viz & Viz systematic acceptance of CPCSEA Guidelines.
During the program, poster presentation was also organized in which first rank was secured by Tasneem Hussian (Truba Institute of Pharmacy, Bhopal), second rank by Priyanka Tiwari (RGPV, Bhopal) and third rank by Shreya Khanna (SOP&R, P.U., Bhopal). The programme was ended with the vote of thanks given by Mr. Anup Chakraborty organizing secretary of this program.-WTN
