Peoples Ladies Club begins preparations for Garba Mahotsava

Bhopal: Today the Peoples Ladies Club started its preparations for the Gala Garba Mahotsava-2016 which is organised every year in a grand way.

The training programme from the participants commenced after the goddess Durga Pooja held in front of People’s University auditorium. Megha Vijaywargia Trustee and Director of Peoples Group who is also President of the Peoples Ladies Club carried out rituals of Pooja along with other members and office bearers of the club.

Those who were prominently present include Lt. Col Karesh Prasad, Secretary of the PLC,  Prasanna Prince,Treasurer, Dr. Shubhangi Mhaske, Dr. Parimala Tyagi, Captain Sumi Choudhary, Dr. Rawat, Varsha Khampariya, Garima Acharya, Kiran Mam, Ayesha, Dr. Anjali, Poonam Pandya, Manisha ,Sunita(PCN & RC), Dr. Anupama Patne, Dr. Vrinda and others.

It may be mentioned that every year the Garba Mahotsava of the Peoples Ladies Club draws a large number of people from all sections of the society other then the employees and faculty members of the university and other units of the People’s Group.

Staged and organised in picturesque surroundings of the People’s Mall the Garba Mahotsava is a delight to watch and participate.

The stalls of mouth watering dishes and special attractions for Kids add more entertainment. This year the Grand Gala Mahotsava of the People’s Ladies Club will be organised from October 5 to 7. On October 5 the Garba Mahotsava would be started with kids singing and dance competition. On October 6 and 7 other then the Garba functions the PLC would also be organising Inter College Dance Competition.-WTN
