All the nations are busy in mitigating Indo-Pak tensions
Following the path of China, now UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon has also offered to help India and Pakistan by acting as an mediator between the two countries. He recently asked both the nuclear armed neighbours to take necessary steps to resolve their tensions peacefully through diplomacy and dialogue.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang also assured media in a conference where he said that he is communicating with both the countries through different channels to bring down tensions and also asked them to work jointly to maintain peace and security in the regions.
Afghanistan on Friday called India’s strikes an act of self defense. At the peak of tensions where nations are busy in balancing the situation, India got an another jerk where Indian market had seen a great fall in share market as 100-point dip in Nifty50 and over 400 points plunge in the S&P BSE Sensex. This happened on last Thursday as a reaction of Indian surgical strikes conducted in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.
The strike occurred just after the attack made by Pakistan-based terror outfit JeM on an Indian army camp in Uri in Kashmir which killed 20 Indian jawans.
