I will present these 1 k researches before the PM: Alok Sanjar

Bhopal: “As a lad, I was reckless and wasted a lot of time. Had I been more respectful towards time, things would have been better sorted today. Youth is like a whiff of fresh air filled with energy. It often goes untapped.  However, if channelised properly, it can do wonders.Today, the youth is more oriented and to prove we have 1000 researches
before us carried out by the People’s University,” said Member of Parliament Alok Sanjar.

Further expressing his thoughts, the MP said, “I wish to be associated with you – the youth. The researches put up by the university covers diverse topics and need to be tabled nationally. It is my prime wish to take this forward and present it before the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The MP was speaking at a function ‘Mission TRP 2015’ organised by the university at Large Auditorium PCMSLRC, People’s University, Bhopal on Saturday morning.  Mission TRP (Mission Thousand Research Plan) is a
compilation of about 1000
researches carried by the students of People’s University during a period of one year. Mission TRP ensures basis and applied research for the welfare of mankind and focus on excellence based projects, programmes and initiatives.

The event started with lamp lighting and floral welcome of the dignataries.

Students from Peoples University Himanshu and Bakshish spoke on the role of research  followed by a welcome speech made by Vice Chancellor Dr VK Pandya.  Chief co-ordinator Mission TRP Dr Raghavendra Gumashta
threw light on how they could accomplish Mission TRP.. Chairman MP Private University Regulatory Commission, Dr Akhilesh Kumar Pandey in his brief address mentioned that Peoples University for the Commission is a dream come true with the kind of good work that is carried out here. He said
that, “We now must not rest rather carry on with much vigour to ensure it become a role model for the universities across the world.”

Director National Institute of High Security Animal Diseases, Bhopal VP Singh, said, “Researches have always been carried out, but applied research is equally or rather more important. Applied research will help the farmers and the masses in general. It will only add to the quality and growth of a state and nation at large.” He appreciated
that the university encouraged the students to work on big as well as small
researches and all are being under one roof.

Later, the researchers were awarded certificates and dignitaries felicitated with mementos.  Registrar Dr Neerja Mallick proposed the vote of thanks.
