Rotary East’s health camp fetches overwhelming response
Bhopal: The Rotary Club East Bhopal has organised a free health check up and free distribution of medicines camp at Community Health Centre, Nayapura, Kolar.
The camp, which commenced on February 26, has evoked an overwhelming response with about 820 patients enrolling themselves on the first day and 740 on the second day. As many as 40 doctors from various city hospitals are actively participating in it.
About 12 doctors from People’s Hospital Bhanpur Bhopal namely Dr Ayush Jain, Dr Aamir Hussain and Dr Ashok K Nayar from the Medicine department, Dr Shweta, Dr Tanya, Dr Kirti, Dr Ruchika, Dr Nancy and Dr Ekta from Gynaecology, Dr JP Chourasia, Dr Richa and Dr Nandan Sharma from Paediatrics and Dr Animesh Saxena and Dr Anjali Y Patil from the Skin and VD department are extending their services. Dean People’s College Dr Ashok Maske coordinated while resident surgeon Dr Chirag Shanti Dausage worked hard for the success of the event.
The check-up are being carried out for ailments like cervical, ENT & breast cancer, HIV/AIDS, tuberculoses, blood sugar, blood pressure, thyroid, malnutrition, and various types of fevers. Those detected with diseases are being referred to concerned hospitals.
The event has been organised under the banner of Rural Health Mission, Madhya Pradesh and is supported by Rotary Club Dunwoody Atlanta USA, District 6900, Rotary Club Indore Uptown, District 3040 and Rotary Foundation Global Grant No 1634659.
