Bhopal Police arrests three for throwing ink on Health Minister Nadda
Bhopal: Three youths have been taken into custody by the Bagsewania police as accused for throwing ink on Union Health Minister JP Nadda during his recent visit to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal.
The names of the persons taken into custody by the police have been given as Brijesh Gupta, Vijay Rajak and Maruti Rao.
Police said that the three accused in order to draw media attention carried out the offence. The accused Brajesh Gupta is learnt to be the national president of Jay Lok Party.
The other accused Maruti Rao is media coordinator of the party while accused Vijay Rajak was in contact with the other two. During investigations the accused told the police that they threw ink on Union Health Minister to gain media publicity.
The three accused were identified by the police with help of CCTV footages and taking the statements of the persons who were present at that time on the spot.
A case has been registered under section 341, 353, 336, 109 and 120 B of IPC against the accused. They were arrested and produced before the court. The duo accused Brajesh Gupta and Maruti Rao have been sent to jail while accused Vijay has been taken on police remand.-WTN
