State level to Patwari Cadre Minister Revenue Gupta Reviews Departmental Schemes

Bhopal: Cadre of new patwaris will be of state level. Cadre of old patwaris will remain the same as of district level. Patwaris opt for transfer out of district will be included in state level cadre. District cadre will be announced as a dead cadre. Minister for Revenue, Science and Technology directed the officials to take action in this matter at the earliest.

Gupta said that separate lawyers will be kept to follow revenue cases pending in courts. One officer at each division and district will be posted as a legal officer. He said that review should be done every month in districts where revenue record is under computerization. Gupta gave directives for immediate settlement of departmental enquiry cases.

Farmers to give information about sowing themselves

Minister Gupta said that farmers will now give information about sowing in a plain paper to tahsil themselves and will keep receipt of the information with them. Benefit of crop insurance scheme will be on the basis of the information. It will be mandatory for the patwari to certify information within three months. Information given by the farmer will be accepted in case of non attestation by patwari within three months.

Pattas to be issued in Husband – Wife name

Gupta said that land pattas will be issued in the name of both husband and wife now in city as well as village. He gave instructions to issue order in this regard.

Revenue Housing Corporation to be established

Minister Gupta said that the revenue department should initiate action as regard to establishment of revenue Housing Corporation for construction of buildings related to the department. This corporation will be established on the lines of Police Housing Corporation. Principal Secretary Revenue K.K. Singh, Secretary  G. P. Shrivastava and Chief Revenue Commissioner  K.K.
