Wednesday - April 6, 2016 10:30 am , Category : WTN SPECIAL

For ages, Ayurveda has been considered one of the most effective methods of getting rid of body issues. Besides Ayurveda being a treatment method without side effects, it also has reputation for curing things from roots.
All people desiring a beautiful and glowing skin can make dream come true with special and unique ways of Ayurveda. Say no never for Ayurvedic makeover. It is time to get introduced to the skin care regime and get benefitted.

Ayurveda skincare regime is twofold with working inside the body as well as the outside beautiful skin. It has seven layer concepts and skin shows the quality of one’s blood. Let’s check out what Ayurveda suggests for desirable skin.[gap height=”10″]
Ayurveda skin regime includes three steps beauty care. It includes cleanse, moisturize and nourish. This is pretty standard regime and almost all treatment patterns include all three. What makes Ayurveda different from others is the absence of any harsh chemical in any of the steps from cleansing to nourishing.[gap height=”10″]
According to Ayurveda, skin tends to lose cells at a very high rate and thus removal of these dead skin cells should be prioritized on daily basis.[gap height=”10″]

External Skincare Routine
Cleansing

Ubtan: Ubtan is a paste made of various things to work as scrub on the skin of face as well as other body parts.

Dry milk power and equal parts of chickpea flour to be mixed. Add water into it and apply onto face. Rub the paste gently against the skin and wash off with cold water after sometime.[gap height=”10″]
Nourishment

Skin needs nourishment to look beautiful. For skin nourishment make paste by mixing 1 tablespoon of almond oil with 10 drops of essential oils. The essential oils are to be chosen according to the nature of the skin as Ayurveda classifies skin into three types including dry, oily and normal called Vata, Kapha and Pitta respectively. For dry skin geranium oil, for oily skin lavender and for normal skin jasmine or sandalwood would work the best.[gap height=”10″]
Method to apply

Heat up oil in hot water for a small while and then massage your skin using the oil. Massaging with the oil nourishes the skin and improves the complexion of the skin. It purifies, nourishes and tones the body deeply.[gap height=”10″]
Daily skin care regime

1. Wash face with warm water. Dead skin cells get swollen up and out of thickness drop down easily.

2. Second step is using a pack made up of 2 tablespoons of oat flour and water. Wear the mast and wash off after gently rubbing for a while. Dead skin cells are gone with skin losing essential natural oils.

3. Keep using rose water on skin to keep it moisten full day long.

4. Pat dry the face and wear a thin coating of jojoba oil to seal the moisture. Jojoba oil and skin sebum are kind of same element thus barely any irritation occurs to anyone after applying jojoba oil.[gap height=”10″]
Ayurvedic way of internal skin care
Since Ayurveda advocates notion of skin being mirror of one’s blood, internal skincare is a whole different regime. Ayurveda supports a special daily routine to get ideal skin.[gap height=”10″]
Daily intake

A healthy diet on daily basis is the first step for a healthy skin regime. A large share of vegetables as well as fruits and dairy items are part of daily diet while being away from processed foods, salt, sugar, seafood, red meat.[gap height=”10″]
Exercise and Sleep

As much as a proper diet is important, combination of exercise and sleep is given same importance. Ayurveda advocates at least 5 days a week exercise to wash out impurities through sweating.

Maintaining a timetable around the cloud is essential for all organs work with efficiency whole day. A good night sleep is must for good health.[gap height=”10″]
Yoga

Yoga is for both body and mind. Yoga helps in reducing weight while working as stress buster. Better blood circulations, toned muscles can be achieved through watching over breathing.[gap height=”10″]
Further intense techniques of treatment

Behind bad skin, Ayurveda considers ill functioning of liver responsible. According to Ayurveda if skin looks bad definitely liver is working badly. Sluggish liver function paves way to Pitta and Kapha dosha dysfunction and toxins are built up around the liver slowing down its working. Body impurities come out in the forms of break-outs and other skin problems.

To improve liver function, increase of water intake and a mix called Triphala is advised to be used. Ayurveda suggests shodhana and shaman activities as the treatments for skin issues.[gap height=”10″]
Shodhana

If skin issue is way too complex and even after following the daily routine is not getting cured then shodhanachikitsa is recommended. Shodhana is performed for purification of blood through various methods which includes intake of Ayurvedic medicine and some activities are performed.[gap height=”10″]
Shaman

When body goes weak, shaman chikitsa is performed to gain strength. It is done both by external and internal ways. Various medicines are consumed and massages, lepas (ointments) are the part of external treatment.

Adopt full Ayurveda ways of care and forget about the all kinds of skin related issues.
