Amidst a lot of hue and cry the All India Pre-medical and Dental Test (AIPMT)

Bhopal : Amidst a lot of hue and cry the All India Pre-medical and Dental Test (AIPMT), was held at 17 examination centres identified in Bhopal and other centres of Madhya Pradesh. Official sources say that that around 5,000 students appeared in the examination.
Candidates reached at the examinations centres in the morning much earlier then the reporting time which was 9:30 am. Examination commenced at 10 am. The exam was consisted of 180 objective type questions based on physics, chemistry, and biology (Botany and Zoology and was held for a duration of three hours. Along with the state capital, the examination was conducted in many district headquaters too.
AIPMT is the National level entrance exams conducted by CBSE for admission to Undergraduate medical courses that include MBBS, BDS and BAMS in various government and private medical colleges of the country.
As per the instructions from the CBSE, the students were asked to enter into the examination centres 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the test. Candidates who came after 9:30 am was not permitted to enter into the examination centre.
The CBSE had issued stringent instructions to students. the CBSE has imposed a strict dress code, banned any jewellery and shoes, watches and all electronic devices. Students have also been asked to present themselves for frisking and alert invigilators of other students using unfair means. -windowtonews
