8 Lakh Houses to be constructed for Poor in Next Two Years in State
Shahdol : In the next two years, 8 lakh houses will be constructed in the state. Born in the soil of Madhya Pradesh should own their houses, state government has given thought to it. Residential pattas are being provided to the people living on the government land.. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was addressing the Jan Darshan Programme of various villages of Budhar Janpad Panchayat of Shahdol district.
CM Chouhan said that his life is committed for the public. All the necessary efforts will be taken for the welfare of the people of the state. He mentioned that the public cooperation is needed besides government efforts. Chouhan administered pledge to the people to build toilets in the houses, not to discriminate between girl and boy child, priority to girls in education, plantation of at least one tree and its protection on the occasion.
Moreover, Chouhan told the officials for construction of girls high school at village Rasmohni, arrangement of subject wise teachers, construction of laboratory, expansion of canal for irrigation purpose after inspection.
Chouhan Further made announcements as regard to estimate of construction of 3 kilometer village Madsa-Ghoghra road, construction of Boundary wall of primary and middle school and estimate for bridge construction on Kunuk river.
Also, as regard to construction of stop dam cum platform at Mahro river, construction of community bhavan, upgradation of middle school of Khairani to high school, construction of Antaria road, survey of lift irrigation scheme on Kunuk river at village Panchayat Titra, construction of playground near school, construction of Khairhani- Ghorve road and construction of culvert on Kunuk river was made by the Chief Minister Chouhan.
Minister for Mineral Resources, Industries and Trade and Minister in charge of Shahdol district Rajendar Shukla, Former Minister and MLA Jaitpur Jaisingh Marawi, MLA Jaisingh Nagar Pramila Singh, Chairman Madhya Pradesh Baiga Development Authority Ramlal Baiga, Anupam Anurag Awasthi and administrative officers were present on the occasion.-WTN
