Tuesday - September 13, 2016 12:42 am , Category : WTN SPECIAL

Bhopal : Waste-soil was found in 183 bags in 4000 metric tonne wheat stored at Kartar warehouse in Phanda development block in Bhopal district. Managing Director, warehousing corporation, Arun Pandey conducted inspection at the ware house on Monday morning.  Pandey issued instructions to file FIR in the case.

Stored wheat was brought to the warehouse by cooperative societies through civil supplies corporation. MD  Pandey informed that waste-soil was found in 183 bags in 4000 quintal wheat stored in the warehouse.

The quantity is very less as compared to total stock available there but it indicates dereliction and irregularity. Those who are responsible for it will be punished after investigation. FIR has been lodged so that recovery could be made in the loss from concerned responsible persons.

MD Pandey said instructions were issued by chief minister and food minister to supply good quality wheat in PDS. The quality is checked at many levels in PDS. Wheat is supplied to fair price shop after checking in each bag taken from warehouse. He said that the system will be more improved at warehouse so that there won’t be further complaint. Regional manager  Kushwah said, application had been given with Khajuri police station to file FIR.-WTN
