Banking for Self Help Groups to be simplified

Bhopal : One day workshop of Madhya Pradesh Gramin Ajeevika Mission and Punjab National bank was held in the Academy of Administration. Deliberation to make the banking process simple for the self help groups took place.

CEO of Ajeevika Mission L.M. Belwal informed bank officers about the activities of the mission. He informed that there are one lakh 50 thousand self help groups functioning in the state. These groups transact constantly with the banks. Highlighting the utility of Sakhi Yojna,  Belwal said that positive cooperation is expected from the bank.

General Manager of Punjab National Bank  L.K. Malhotra, Representative of World Bank Amit Arora, Bank Officers, District Managers of Ajeevika Mission and members of self help groups were present in the workshop.-WTN
