Bhopal police seize 120 sharp-edged weapons

Bhopal: In what can be a praised effort made by the Bhopal police the cops have arrested two accused involved in manufacturing of sharp edged weapons. The accused who were taken into custody from Govindpura Industrial Area had manufactured deadly sharp edged weapons numbering 120.

It was a tip off that revealed the big possession. Police team learnt that two persons are carrying sharp edgeed weapons in Govindpura Industrial area. A team immediatyely reached the spot and two suspects who were later identified as Naseer Khan and Mohammad Sazid were taken into custody on the night of Friday.

When the cops frisked the two they found three sharp edged weapons from their possession. When cops grilled the two they confessed that they have been involved in the manufacturing of such weapons from a long time.

Sources said that these weapons could have been used for heinous offences but due to vigilance of the police the sharp edged weapons were seized.

The cops have registered a case under section 25 of Arms Act and are making further investigations.
