Breaking: Kazuo Ishiguro, the British writer, has won the 2017 Nobel Prize for Literature
The British from Japanese origin Kazuo was an immigrant to Britain, London at the age of five along with his parents. The Nobel award winner is a short story writer, novelist, and screenwriter. Kazuo Ishiguro has won this year's Nobel Prize for Literature 2017.
Born in Nagasaki, and bought up in streets of London, the writer did his graduation from the University of Kent in the year 1978. Ishiguro completed his masters from the University of East Anglia's Creative writing course. Today the writer was declared as the winner by the Nobel Prize Academy Sweden, Stockholm, for this year's Nobel Prize in Literature for his novel "the remains of the day."
The academy quoted for Ishiguro "Kazuo Ishiguro’s most renowned novel, ”The Remains of the Day” (1989), was turned into the film with Anthony Hopkins as the butler Stevens.
The man who introduced a cold undercurrent of science fiction into his work. The academy called him in his honor, "who in novels of great emotions force, has uncovered the abyss beneath our illusory sense of connection with the world." - Window To News
